🔮 IT’S HAPPENING UND IHR SEID HERZLICH EINGELADEN

Nach 1 1/2 Jahren intensiver Vorbereitung und kreativer Auseinandersetzung, präsentieren die 9 Futurists ihre Projektergebnisse. In diesen Arbeiten setzen sie sich künstlerisch, theoretisch, praktisch, inter- und multidisziplinär mit Imaginationspolitik und Zukünfte Denken aus einer muslimischen Positionierung auseinander.

Zu Beginn des Projekts stand die Frage im Zentrum: 
Was wäre, wenn wir einen Raum schaffen würden, in welchem radikal und fernab von Fremddeutungen geträumt, imaginiert und kreiert werden dürfte? Wenn es partizipativ, kollektiv und auch sensuell passiert? Was wäre, wenn wir diesen Raum Muslim Futures nennen würden? 

Dieser Raum ist da – ein Stück Zukunft ist jetzt. 🔮

🔮 IT’S HAPPENING AND YOU ARE ALL WELCOME

Muslim Futures (SUPERRR Lab) was initiated and launched in 2022 by Ouassima Laabich and is funded by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb.de).

From a theoretical perspective, Muslim Futures builds on the cultural-ideological-cosmological framework of Critical Futures Thinking and imagines Muslim-intersectional futures through a collective and participatory process. 

With Muslim Futures, an empowering and disruptive space is created together with Muslim futurists from art, culture and political education, who translate, exhibit and discuss their imaginations in various installations, interventions and forms of expression. The futurists make use of literary, artistic, documentary, musical and many other perspectives and focus in part on different sensual experiences in imaginative processes. Come, and enter the world of Muslim Futures and to radically imagine more just and inclusive futures with us.
